Ask your MP to be a voice for the voiceless

UK wildlife currently receives very little protection under UK law, and sadly, wildlife crime is not recorded in its own right. Astonishingly, it can sometimes be recorded in the same category as litter dropping!

Naturewatch Foundation is campaigning to make UK wildlife matter. We need the new Westminster Government to amend the law so that wildlife crime can be recorded accurately. This change will help the police to better record and deal with wildlife crimes effectively.

Join us in telling your local MP how you feel about key wildlife crimes being made recordable.

Tell them:

  • Why wildlife matters,
  • Why wildlife crime should count, and
  • Why, as your representative, you are asking them to advocate for protecting wildlife.

Currently, the Government doesn't seem to be listening. We need to apply pressure for our voices to be heard, and for this, we need your help now.

You have a say in who your elected local Member of Parliament is. They represent you and your voice in the UK Parliament and many are new MPs. Now is the time to ask them to stand up for British wildlife. We need your support now more than ever, and so does our wildlife!
