100 acts of kindness for 100 years of World Animal Day

This year, World Animal Day turns 100 - and we’re celebrating with something special!

For a century, people around the world have come together every October 4th to speak up for animals. Now, we’re inviting you to be part of that legacy with a global kindness campaign.

Join us: 100 Acts of Kindness for 100 Years.

Organised by Naturewatch Foundation, this campaign encourages individuals, schools, and community groups to pledge simple, kind acts for animals, the planet, and the people who care for them.

Whether you're feeding the birds in your garden, donating supplies to a rescue shelter, organising a school fundraiser, or simply sharing a message of hope on social media - every act of kindness, big or small, makes a difference.

  • Showing kindness to animals is a reflection of true compassion and empathy. Whether it’s feeding a stray dog, rescuing an injured bird, or simply providing fresh water to animals during a hot day, even the smallest gestures can make a big difference in their lives. Animals may not be able to speak, but they feel love, care, and pain just like we do. By being kind to them, we help create a more humane and balanced world.
