URGENT:
MPs MUST attend parliament 14th January and vote NO.
Protesting or even intending to protest (regardless of the topic!) near facilities linked to animal testing could be considered 'interfering with the use or operation of', and you soon YOU could be arrested and sentenced to up to 12 months in prison for doing so.
An aggressive and underhanded law change being pushed through to amend the Public Order Act 2023 to include 'Life Sciences Infrastructure' in the list of key national infrastructure is happening right now.
Why is this a problem? Because we stand up for animals that have no voice and are being used as scientific experiments.
Infrastructure includes roads, rail, gas, etc. - NOT animals being tested on in the name of questionable science. The UK Government recently launched its strategy to phase out animal testing. Which one is it, a 'key national infrastructure', or no longer necessary and will be phased out?
We have a right to protest in the UK. It is our right to be the voices for those who need us. Do not let your voice be silenced, too!
You don't even need to be against animal testing, you just need to believe in democracy!
Your local MP is YOUR voice in Parliament. Ask them to attend on the 14th January 2026 to vote 'NO' and oppose this underhanded and aggressive use of archaic parliamentary process. They MUST attend and VOTE NO.
